Our Story

ABA Connections was established in Norman in 2020 with a heart for people. Owner of ABA Connections, J. Gayla Martin, BCBA, LBA-OK began in the field as a behavior technician in 2007 and obtained her board certification in 2013. Since then, she has enjoyed applying the principles of learning history to change socially significant behavior with children across ages and environments.

She believes as a BCBA it is her role to collaborate and work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, invested in helping clients and families be the guiding force in achieving their goals. Likewise, it is her responsibility to ethically and thoughtfully oversee the supervision of her staff.

She has worked as a director for large and quickly growing companies for several years and now applies her experience and values at ABA Connections. While she is passionate about helping clients, she is just as passionate about supporting staff in maintaining a healthy balance in life, including prioritizing their personal values. Therefore, in addition to implementing a higher quality of service in the field, she also invests time in training others to do the same.
